- Gate intercoms — video doorbells or commercial intercoms with two-way audio and remote unlock.
- Visitor management — temporary access codes for tradespeople and Airbnb guests, with a photo at entry and a record of who came in when.
- Time-based rules — the cleaner gets 8–10am Monday only, automatically.
- Phone-based keys — your phone unlocks the door; fobs as backup. Revoke instantly when staff leave.
Where it earns its keep
- Staff turnover — revoking a phone key takes seconds. Recovering a lost fob, or rekeying a lock, does not.

Integrated, not bolted on
Access control installed in isolation gives you a second app, a second login and a second set of logs that never quite line up with the cameras. We put entry events and camera footage on one system, so "who opened the back door at 6:40" is one search rather than a reconciliation exercise. Every install is quoted from a site visit. We walk the doors and gates, work out what needs a reader and what needs an intercom, and write up a fixed-price proposal covering hardware, labour, cabling and timeline — no day rates, no scope creep.
